I love weddings.  Yet it is essential to realize that the wedding is only the beginning of a marriage.  It does seem to me a shame to decorate a doorway so beautifully as to forget about the house itself, which is the case with many a wedding.  I have no desire to make beautiful simply for the sake of momentary beauty.  The purpose for the worship ceremony and communal reception must be the reflection of the heart of each man and woman as they unite their lives in holy matrimony under the Lordship of Christ.
